European Day of Languages at Lingua Sì

On Monday, September 26, Europe celebrated the European Day of Languages.

At the Lingua Sì School of languages in Orvieto, students from around the world (Austria, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Romania, USA..) took part in a special lesson devoted not only to Italian, but to all languages. Together, the students and teachers reflected on the importance of learning foreign languages.

They prepared and carried out an interview, collecting the views on foreign languages of the people of Orvieto. Finally, the students created a multilingual billboard of the most popular words and phrases not only in Italian, but also in English, Russian, Danish, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Orvieto journalists from Radio News recorded students’ comments, which will be used in a radio broadcast scheduled in the coming days.
